50 year old Miami Heat fan, Michael Drysch, did the unimaginable. He was given the opportunity to shoot a half court shot at the game…..and nailed it! Michael got to go home with $75,000 cash and a very memorable bear hug from “King James” himself.
“That was awesome, man,” LeBron James said in an ESPN interview. “I was excited for him. When he wound up like that, I was like, ‘Oh no, there’s no way.’ And then when I saw it in the air, I was like, ‘Oh, that’s got a chance.’ I was happy to be a part of that.”
“It’s a great way to meet somebody like that,” Michael Drysch said. “I had no idea he was coming over to me like that. That was amazing. What a great feeling to experience something like this.”
