Virginia Tech students carry wheelchair-bound student on adventure through the Cascades

Hiking up the Cascades is a long time tradition of Virginia Tech students.  One student, Justin Graves, never thought that this tradition would be his as well.

Justin is a paraplegic who is bound to a wheelchair.  He is also very charismatic, always smiling, and well known in the school.  One day his friend, Scinju Gadamsetty, had a wild idea.  He would gather a few other students and carry Justin through the Cascades, thus fulfilling the Hokie tradition.

They caught the moment on film and within a couple days, it had over 10,000 views.

You must see this video.  I don’t know if it is the story, or the music 🙂 It is touching.

Justin said it best – “Teamwork makes the dreamwork”
