(Sacramento, California) The Valley High baseball team was practicing on the field when they heard screams from the parking lot.  Without delay, the 30 Varsity and JV players hopped the fence and ran towards the lot.

There they found a young student pinned under a car.  The driver accidentally backed into her and pinned her underneath without knowing.  The baseball team heroically lifted the car and rescued the young student.

“Their courage in a traumatic situation was truly remarkable. I couldn’t be more proud. They turned a terrible situation into a heroic one.”, their coach Brett Sawyer proudly stated.

And that’s what’s good,

Jon
